There’s a reason this recipe is the best, common household ingredients, inexpensive and a major satisfaction to the cravings, what else do we need?  Here are a few necessary details to make this Nutritious Banana Bread.

This was originally a recipe in which I used all-purpose flour. But few days back I actually ran out of all-purpose flour and then I didn’t have a choice and had to add whole wheat flour. Although it was an accidental discovery, this recipe worked really well with whole wheat flour as well. So guys without worrying about consuming more gluten make this recipe and let me know how it turns out.

The Banana

Bananas are one of the most nutritious fruits out there. And you might not know but they are known as common man’s food bus stop they have been all-time favourite fruit to all the age groups out there. even diabetes patients don’t worry about consuming bananas because they are so healthy and it or not cause any problem to diabetes patients.

So if you have some overripe bananas don’t throw them away this is the best chance to use them. Now normal bananas work too, but if the bananas are more ripened you get a very deep sense of Banana flavour which is really good for the banana bread.

Bananas have various other health benefits. I can go on and on about it but if you want to know more about bananas you can just click here.

Whole Wheat Flour

This is used almost every day in every household. It is an extremely diverse ingredient, and one of its main advantages is that reduces the risk of type 2 diabetes. In this Nutritious banana bread recipe, whole wheat flour provides the main volume and contributes highly to the nutritional value.

Although you might be wondering that how can I get a good texture in a banana bread without all-purpose flour. Well, my answer to that is banana bread is not a very glutenous sponge in the first place. Although whole wheat flour doesn’t lack gluten completely, it’s just that the quantity of gluten is really really less.

The Eggs

Now over the years, one thing I have learnt in my culinary school is that skipping eggs in any baked product is a huge mistake. And that is mainly because you’re compromising on a lot of the taste and texture.

You might think that there are a lot of substitutes to eggs in a baked product recipe. Yes, you are right but there is nothing better than eggs, it has always been the first choice of any Baker. You can always end up adding some condensed milk or maybe some yoghurt and there are various other substitutes too. But you will never get the same texture and taste.

But if you do not consume eggs at all, you can always go for some condensed milk that is the second-best option after eggs according to me and then you can always go for some yoghurt as well. Just make sure that you add exactly the same amount of yoghurt or condensed milk. In this case, we only have one egg so we will be adding 50 grams of condensed milk or 50 grams of yoghurt

The Oil

So here is one more good news for you! I did not use butter in this recipe. I know it is a big relief for you because butter if consumed in excess amount, is very unhealthy.

Also, oil has been a Baker’s first choice for long time that is because it gives a more moist sponge and the texture comes out much better. Although butter always gives you a better smell and better taste. I know it is a difficult choice, but you can choose according to your needs.
